0046Fall is a lovely time to escape the city and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the mountains before ski season gets underway. Whether you’re coming up from Denver or visiting from further away, Frisco is a great place to plan just that kind of quick and easy getaway. Start by booking your stay at the Frisco Inn on Galena, of course, and while you’re in town, take a day to explore Frisco’s Main Street of the Rockies for some outstanding shopping and delightful dining fare.

Before heading out for a leisurely stroll on Main Street, get fueled up with a custom brewed espresso drink and nourishing and tasty gourmet breakfast at the Inn. Depending on your appetite, we have two great options – a light breakfast from 7:00 – 7:30 and a full breakfast from 7:30 – 8:30.

After enjoying our chef’s daily breakfast creation, get your day started with some boutique shopping on Main, just a block away from the Inn. Take some time to peruse the shops and galleries in town and you’ll discover plenty of unique finds. While you’re out, swing by Abbey’s Coffee and grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte to get in the mood for fall. For lunch, consider the Boatyard Grill for some fresh wood-fired pizza.

After lunch, take some time in the afternoon to explore Frisco’s Historic Park and Museum and learn more about our rich gold-mining history while enjoying some fresh Rocky Mountain air.

Once you’ve had your fill of all that Downtown Frisco has to offer, head back to the Inn in time for our delicious daily happy hour event from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. Grab a book and a complimentary glass of wine and prop your feet up next to the fire, or spend the evening next to our fire pit on the sundeck visiting with other guests and locals. Our full spread of complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will keep you satisfied all afternoon.

If you’re interested in heading back out on the town, there are lots of great dinner options around. That said, we think the Inn is one of the best places to enjoy a gourmet meal to close out the day. Join us for dinner from 7:00 – 8:00 for a low-key, private dining experience specially prepared by our in-house chefs. A delicious meal is prepared each evening that features entrée, a fresh salad and homemade bread baked daily, followed by a fresh, homemade dessert. Grab a look at our dinner menu here.

September and October are great months to enjoy Frisco during the quiet shoulder season of fall. We hope to see you soon!
