If you’re looking for a great way to spend the holiday weekend, Frisco’s Fabulous 4th of July is the perfect fit for you and the family. From Saturday’s Family Adventure Quest to the big firework show over Dillon Reservoir Monday night, the upcoming holiday weekend is chock full of Independence Day fun.

Take a look at Frisco’s Fabulous 4th of July event schedule: 

Saturday July 2nd 

Family Adventure Quest – 9:00am to 12:00pm 

An adventure course like no other with mud pits, slacklines, cargo nets, trekking, biking and a variety of other unique challenges in the Village at Copper and on Copper Mountain. 

Copper Mountain Fireworks Show – 9:30pm 

Fireworks will be shot off over West Lake in Copper’s Center Village. 

Sunday July 3rd 

Three Dog Night Concert – 1:00pm 

FREE concert playing at Copper Mountain

Monday July 4th 

Team Summit Pancake Breakfast – 7:00am to 11:00am 

Delicious breakfast will be served all morning at the old community center located on 110 3rd Ave. 

Bike

Kids Fishing Derby – 9:00am to 11:00am 

This FREE event located at Frisco’s Meadow Creek Park is open to children 15 years old and younger. Participants must bring their own rods, bait/flies and an enthusiasm for catching the biggest fish. Registration is available only onsite on the morning of the event. 

Summit Concert Band – 10:00am to 11:00am 

Playing for all of those who are looking for some FREE music and a good time at the Frisco Historic Park Gazebo

Fabulous Fourth of July Parade – 12:30pm 

This year Deaflympics medalist, Lauren Weibert, will lead off the parade as the official Grand Marshal of the 2015 Frisco 4th of July parade. Frisco also invites kids to take a special spot in the parade and join in on the 16th annual bike parade. The parade will take place on Main Street from Madison Ave. to 6th Ave.

Page 6ix Concert – 1:30pm to 3:30pm 

Page 6ix is one of the premier funk, soul and R&B bands in the Western U.S.  Featuring six musicians who have toured the world to play marquee festival slots in support of renowned artists from every genre, Page 6ix will cover everything from Beyonce to John Legend, Pharrell to Chris Botti. The concert is FREE and takes place on Main Street in front of Historic Park

Interactive Drum Circle – 3:30pm to 5:00pm 

Some free drumming fun with Peak Rhythms while Main Street is closed for the celebrations. 

Eric Lindell Band – 7:15pm to 9:15pm 

Eric Lindell is an American singer-songwriter who combines blues-rock, soul and R&B to give a fresh, cool “blue-eyed soul” vibe. The concert will take place at the Frisco Bay Marina

Fireworks Over Dillon Reservoir – 9:30pm

This fireworks show doesn’t cease to amaze from beginning to end. With a breathtaking view of fireworks in the Colorado High Country, coupled with a patriotic music selection from Krystal 93.9, this is one truly special way to spend the 4th of July.
